Rescue Diver - Diver rescue and first aid in the event of underwater incidents
Course description:
The rescue course intends to develop the knowledge and skills, necessary to efficiently perform rescues and assist divers, as well as administer the necessary first aid.
It is necessary for those who have decided to continue their education on a professional level.
Preconditions:
1. The minimal age is 18 years old. From ages 15 to 17 parental consent is required.
2. A completed SDI CPROX, CPR1st or CPROX1stAED course. (The SDI CPROX, CPR1st or CPROX1stAED course can be combined with the Rescue course by qualified instructors)
3. Possession of a SDI Advanced Diver certificate, an equivalent or an Open Water diver certificate + 40 logged dives.

3. Hyperbaric injuries and management
• Information collection
• Access to a hyperbaric chamber

• Access to emergency transport/assistance

• Liability and related legal considerations
What's in it for you:
Upon successful completion of the SDI Adventure Scuba Diver course, the graduates receive an international certificate which allows:
1. Continuation of their education to the highest non-professional level - SDI Master Diver.
2. Signing of their first professional course - SDI Divemaster.
Minimal requirements for receiving the certificate:
1. Demonstration of mature and reasonable decisions regarding the planning and execution of the actions during emergency situations.
2. Satisfactory completion of the theoretical exam - SDI Rescue.
3. Excellent completion of all practical exercises; adequate reactions in different unforeseen situations.
Training and course structure:
1. Theoretical preparation - it is conducted during the entire course.
2. Practical preparation:
- eight training diver in open water with the execution of exercises, necessary to cover the course requirements.
The minimal length of the course is four days (32 learning hours).
